La Caravane d'Utrecht

Starting at the Wilhelminapark 19.15h and finishing on Vredenburg Square 21.15h tonight, the parade of La Caravane d'Utrecht will cycle, roll and play music in the city center of Utrecht. The carnavalesque parade is a festive parody on La Caravane Publicitaire, the well-known publicity caravan before every stage of the Tour de France. La Caravane will consist of a collection of ten compartments, one from every neighborhood in Utrecht, designed and built by residents and organizations from Utrecht.
